Create separate PDF files from page groups you choose locally.
How to use
Choose a PDF; the tool reads it and shows how many pages it has. Then pick how to split it: One PDF per page makes a separate file for every page, and Custom page groups makes one file for each group you type. Split PDF creates the files and lists them with their sizes, each with its own Download button.
In custom groups, a semicolon separates one output file from the next, and inside a group you can list pages and ranges with commas and hyphens. 1-3; 4,6; 7-9 makes three files: pages 1 to 3, pages 4 and 6, and pages 7 to 9. Pages inside a group are copied in the order you type them, and a page cannot appear twice in the same group. Pages you leave out are simply not copied.
The files are named after the original with a number: report.pdf gives report-1.pdf, report-2.pdf and so on. Up to 30 files can be created at a time, so a document with more than 30 pages has to be split with custom groups, for example 1-10; 11-20; 21-30; 31-40.
Each new file is built from copies of the original pages. The title, author and other document information are copied, but bookmarks and links to other pages are lost, and a form may stop working. The PDF can be up to 80 MB; password-protected files are not supported. Everything happens in your browser.

How do I get just a few pages as one file?
Use Extract PDF pages, which makes a single file from the pages you list. Split is for cutting a document into several files.
