Privacy

The short version: nTools has no accounts, asks for no personal details, and processes as much as it can inside your browser. This page explains the exceptions honestly.

What we ask you for

Nothing. There is no registration, no profile and no newsletter. The only form on the site is the contact form, and it asks for a name, an email address, a subject and a message so a reply can be sent.

What stays in your browser

Your chosen language, your light/dark theme preference and your favorites, along with up to six recently opened tools are stored in your browser’s local storage. This never leaves your device, is not used to build a profile, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Where data leaves your browser

Four tools need an outside source, and each request goes through an endpoint on this site rather than straight from your browser:

DNS lookup sends the domain name you enter to Cloudflare’s DNS resolver, falling back to Google’s if it is unavailable. WHOIS/RDAP lookup sends the domain or IP address to rdap.org. IP information uses data Cloudflare already attaches to your request, and may query rdap.org about the network your address belongs to. Postal-code lookup (Brazilian edition) sends the postal code to ViaCEP.

Only the value you typed is forwarded. Please do not enter personal or confidential information into any tool.

Contact form

Submissions are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated spam out, then delivered by Cloudflare’s email service to a single address held in the site’s configuration. The message is used to answer you and nothing else.

Hosting and technical data

The site runs on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical data a request carries — IP address, approximate location, browser and time — for delivery, security and abuse prevention, under its own terms.

Advertising

The site includes Google AdSense code, but this does not mean that ads are currently being served. If Google approves the site and advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads and, where permitted, personalise them.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google’s certified consent platform may present a consent message. Depending on the visitor’s choices and the applicable rules, Google may serve personalised, non-personalised or limited ads, or may not serve an ad. nTools never sends what you type into a tool to an advertiser.

Analytics and cookies

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled on this site. It is a cookieless measurement service: a small script reports the page address, the referring page, load timings and coarse browser and country information to Cloudflare, which turns them into aggregate visitor counts and performance figures. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and cannot follow you to other sites. nTools stores no analytics events of its own. nTools sets no cookies of its own; cookies or local-storage entries that appear may come from Cloudflare security services or from Google’s advertising and consent services. See the cookie policy for details.

Your rights

Because nTools holds no user accounts and keeps no database of visitors, there is normally nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. For requests concerning data held by the services named above, contact them directly, or write to us and we will point you to the right place. Under the GDPR and Brazil’s LGPD you retain your rights of access, correction, deletion and objection.

Children

The site is not directed at children and asks for no information that would identify anyone.
