Rotate PDF
Rotate all or selected PDF pages and download the updated document.
How to use
Choose a PDF, enter the pages to rotate (all, single pages or ranges such as 2,4-6) and choose 90°, 180° or 270°. All rotations are clockwise; 270° is the same as a quarter turn anticlockwise. Rotate PDF saves the document as a new file named after the original with -rotated, for example scan-rotated.pdf.
A PDF page has a rotation setting, and viewers apply it when they show or print the page. Rotating changes only that setting: nothing is redrawn or compressed again, the text stays selectable and the quality is exactly the same. The new rotation is added to the one the page already has, so a page that opens sideways is fixed with a single turn in the right direction, and four turns of 90° bring a page back to where it started.
The rest of the document is kept: bookmarks, links, form fields and the document information stay as they were, because the original document is saved again rather than rebuilt. As after any change, a digital signature on the original is no longer valid in the new file.
The PDF can be up to 80 MB; password-protected files are not supported. The file is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.
Example
2,4-6 → 90°Rotates pages 2, 4, 5 and 6 a quarter turn clockwise; the other pages stay as they are.all → 180°Turns every page upside down, for a document that was scanned the wrong way round.Page opens rotated 90° clockwise → 270°Brings it upright: 90° + 270° makes a full turn of 360°.
